patience and kindness
i've talked about this book before, and i know what you're thinking, how did it take you sooo long to read a poetry book ? the truth is i've been savoring it, i didn't want it to end. in some ways, i still haven't finished it, because i keep coming back to the little pieces i have marked, to read them again and again and again.
here's a collage of one of those pages i keep coming back,
my favorite verse,Los Γ‘rboles en marzo
son postes de madera,
y hay unas tiernas hojas que
consiguen cambiarlos
y es que la paciencia y la ternura valen para todo.
Por esto y otras cosas no me mato.
༄˖°.π.ೃ࿔*:・
in March, the trees
are wooden sticks,
but there's some cute leaves
that change them
that is, patience and kindness* work for everything.
it is because of that and a few other things, i don't kill myself.
*ternura could mean kindness, but in a way that also conveys: tenderness, love, softness, endearment

i will go ahead and add it to my bingo, checking: read a book from my shelf. i really need to read some books real quick if i want to finish before the year ends....
