trying to find a book that makes me feel the way supernatural does

i've been asking around for book recommendations with supernatural vibes, the post that got the most replies is the one i posted on pagebound,

 

i combined all the recs i got from that post, and all the others i made, in a list that's pinned on my pagebound profile , you can check it out if you're interested in reading a book like that. 

 

i've been trying to read them all to see if at least one actually makes me feel the way supernatural does, but i never seem to find the time to sit down and read for a bit. so i've decided to make a blog entry about it, to put it out there, so i can feel giddy about reading and the posting about it in here. 

let's see if this post actually ups my chances of starting this little reading challenge, i think i'm gonna start with small miracles by olivia atwater or with the monsters we made by peyton june, because they're the only books i got recommended that were already on my tbr, and therefore, already on my ebook.

  i started playing Hades (2020) knowing nothing about it, i impulsed bought it months ago on sale because i thought the art was really pretty.  the game starts right away, doesn't explains much to you. it just throws you immediately into battle, then when you die, you appear in a room, and Zagreus (the character you're playing) calls it home. there's no monsters there, and the game let's you interact with a bunch of different object and characters, it's here where you get some context of what the game is about.  you are the son of Hades, trying to escape from hell. obviously the underworld is built so nobody can leave, so you keep dying over and over again, getting back to the main room. every time you have to start over from the very first room, and fight you're way up to the furthest room your live span and ability allow you.  every time you die, there's a bunch of things you get to do at home to better prepare yourself for your next try. you can unlock n...
