collage club (day dreaming)

i've always wanted to be part of a club, i used day dream with a book club as a kid. now that i'm an adult, i know i would never fit in one of those, i am a very slow reader, also very picky about my books, and i hate sharing my thoughts and opinions out loud, specially to a live audience bigger than 2 people. all essential parts of a book club. 

these past few years, what i day dream about it a collage club. i would love to be part of silly little club just to make collages. my main idea for it is, every month (maybe every week, if we had the time) one of us chooses 1 sticker (can be physical or digital) and sends it to the rest of the club; then each one has to make a collage around that sticker, later we get to compare them and see all the different versions of the same idea. some of them would be kinda similar, some of them wildly different ! i am just so curious to know what each artists would create, when prompted with the exact same thing ! !! !

ideally it would be an online club, so we won't really have talk about it, or make a whole event out of every collage, we could simply share them in the same space, so we can all look at them and enjoy all the ideas we couldn't come up with. 

i love looking at art, silly weird art is probably my favorite, and i think collages is a medium that's practically begging for you to go a bit silly and weird.

i have a bunch of my collages on a pinterest moodboard, if you ever feel like looking at collages, like i often do. one think i really enjoy is opening one of my collages, and going anywhere pinterest takes me, what does the algorithm think looks similar to my creations ? ? similar colors and shapes, similar vibes, same characters, etc. it's so much fun !
