my 2007 dolls

my mom has this cute picture of her and one of our dogs framed, but it's taken some damage over the years, i've been trying to find the original so i can print it again for her, there's so many years and years of badly organized folders in so many different cds, pen drives, laptops and disks.... it's taking me forever, i haven't found it yet.

but i've found countless of other memories i forgot about, it looks like around 2007 my parents gave me my own digital camera, there's many folders of photos little me took of her dolls,

i'm not even sure if you would recognize these girls because i think they might be a spanish cartoon, that wasn't really shown in many other countries, "las tres mellizas" was about the adventures of 3 little sisters: teresa, helena y ana. they were part of a different fairy tale each chapter, and there was a witch called la bruja aburrida (the bored witch) who would appear to scold the kids when they were being mischievous (so every single episode). my favorite one was helena because she was green, i always picked the green girl.

those 2 on the first photo are teresa (she's missing her bow) and baby helena, in the show they're teresa's age. they were so cute ! i used to have a giant book that when you opened it, each page would unfold into a different 3D scenario, and it had tiny paper dolls of all the characters to play out the stories, so cool.

Las Tres Mellizas 11 Los Tres Cerditos | Les tres bessones, Caricaturas ...

it makes me feel very nostalgic, imagining myself, so tiny, placing my dolls on the sofa of my play room just to take cute photos of them,

these were the jaggets, this time i'm sure you do know them, at least if you're near my age. the coolest babies !! their song was so catchy, i think they had similar vibes to the bratz, i was obsessed with the bratz so it makes sense i loved them too.

sometimes i catch myself taking a photo of something and i think it's silly, i end up not doing it or deleting it right after, is this a memory worth preserving ? but now that i see how these very simple, very silly photos make me feel, i understand photos aren't just for me, but for future me, who will probably look at the things i capture today with a smile in their face.

look at this guy ! little baby me collected monkeys ! and i still do ! how fun is that ?? even my name on this blog is monkey. it seems like despite everything, i'm still me.
