is the first released song of marta sango's future first album. 
 
now i know the chances of you knowing marta are almost zero. she's a small, local artist, to the point where i thought i could be lowkey doxing myself by sharing her music here. but i just can't hold back !!!!!! !! i am so excited for this album !! ! i've been waiting for so long and i love her so much ! !! !!! !
 
she participated on a reality show/survival music competition back in 2018. she didn't win the show, but she won the hearts of many people.
 
she makes the music i crave, everything she writes is so pop and so much fun, i get trapped on loops with her songs many many times a week. 
 
for the last 8 years she's dropped 8 singles and a couple of colabs, is not much but it's still very impressive how she hasn't missed once ! everything is good and everything is marta. she has a very personal sound, and she literally single handedly brought back the old spanish pop vibes by herself. it brings me so much joy !
 
my favorite song of hers is lento/rápido, if you feel like listening to something she made,
 

also por tí has a very special place in my heart because it was the first song she put out, she was still under contract with the reality show, all the finalists (she was number 7) got a single. hers did very well despite being far from the winner, it made me happy. i genuinely felt like i was gonna be able to see more of her even without a discography contract, and i was right ! 
 
 
she's been putting out music by herself all of these years, she's been going to events and singing live on radios and tv, making social media posts, she even was the main character on a musical, acting at the theater for months ! and just having fun with her team, full of her friends and loved ones. 
 
i hope this album does great, i for sure can't wait to have my hands all over it ! !!

public library, my beloved

ages 10 to 16 i lived at my local public library. that was my second home. it's tiny and old, as every other public space in tiny old cities tend to be. it probably hasn't updated their books since 2010. it grows only when people donate 3 books once every 10 years. but still: one of my favorite places on earth, i only have good memories there. it helped me discover so many worlds and it single-handedly got me into reading.  so you can imagine how happy i was when my little cousin (leader of the iPad kid generation) asked me to please take her there. we made a whole day out of it. it was so much fun and she loved looking around and touching every book. she is now an official member of the library ! !! a proper citizen.  imagine that ! a place full of books and social spaces for free. you can just go there and spend the whole day sitting around, reading, drawing, thinking, studying. for free !! you can even take books home with you ! for. free. we don't have enough save, comf...
