what's on my trinket shelf (3/?): aliens !
march is aliens month ! !! at least according to dan and phil's calendar, so i'm gonna show you my alien collection.

this time i will show you with actual pictures (instead of badly drawn depictions) because this one is probably my favorite collection and i want you guys to see it fr, the way it actually looks like.
let me start with the trinkets that are actually on a shelf.

𖦹 number 1: the main shelf, only little aliens are allowed in here ! it's a very exclusive shelf. my favorite is probably the mini lalalopsy, i'm obsessed with her, i wish i had the big one. i also really want to add an official shadow the hedgehog figurine, in the meantime i have the japanese poster for the third sonic movie.
𖦹 number 2 and 3: close ups of the main shelf, syou don't miss the gorgeous art by zec-draws of xenomorph holding the ikea alien (2), and the terrible clay figurine i made years ago (3), yes, she is wearing the iconic joy's rainbow dress.
𖦹 number 4: one of my favorite things i own. clown tinkiwnki figurine ! !!!! i do believe teletubbies are aliens so you will be seeing a few today
𖦹 number 5: venom, my most beloved alien. the figurine is from a play-set my little brother used to have. the sexy art is by umikochannart on instagram.
𖦹 and going back to number 1 for a second, i'm sure you can see way in the back of the shelf a little evil gremlin, do you consider gremlins aliens ?? it you do then: they should be part of this. it's gizmo (as a cute funko style piggy bank and as a fuggler).

𖦹 let's adress the elephant in the room first, the collection within my collection: AFTONSPARV (mini). there's 4 hanging off my wall, 1 guarding my car keys and 1 chilling at my car (having a picnic inside the glove compartment).

i'm sorry what did you say ? ?? you want to know my ranking of the alien franchise movies ? and a quick simple sentence to explain my thoughts on them ??? okay.... i guess. first tho, i should tell you that, as a fan, i hate these movies. is one of those things that are much better in my brain, you know ? i want them to be about a human and a synthetic kissing so bad. it's my fault i keep watching them and getting sad when its just about killing aliens........ you will notice, my favorites are the ones that are more centered on love and friendship.

𖦹 the AFTONSPARV collection continues: in addition to the many many tiny ones, i have 2 big ones. the one wearing a strawberry skirt and a sweater is mark, the other one is neil. neil is named and dressed after one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite book sagas: neil josten from all for the game. it was also a bday gift from one of my best friends (she bought if for me a soon as it came out, he's a first edition for sure), so he's very very precious to me.
𖦹 right next to neil, wearing all black: andrew. also named and dressed after a character from the same saga (andrew minyard), spoiler alert: it's gay ! they kiss ! !
𖦹 tinkiwinki, a 1997 original ! my aunt bought it for me when i was a baby and tinkiwinki's number 1 fan.

some other alien theme stuff i've been in contact with this month: 𖦹 i finished the first book of the murderbot diaries saga: all systems red by martha wells, and enjoyed every single word (expect a book blog entry soon), it's not exactly alien related but it's sci-fi, they're in space and the do fight a creature ! so there was an alien in it !! + 𖦹 my copy of xg's last album: gala finally got home ! the vibes are very alien ! i love their concepts so much, they're so cool.
and to manifest them into my life, here is a list of things i day dream about adding to my collection (in no particular order): 🛸๋⭑⭑⭑🛸๋⭑⭑🛸๋⭑⭑
